Our earth is under attack. Please help.
Anonimouse “With much wisdom comes much sorrow.” King Solomon. I find this a sad truth because as you become aware of problems, you realize how insurmountable the solutions are. Add to the fact that do many get angry if you point them out hoping to effect change.
MuantanamoMobile 1 day ago @Dave lambardo I empathize with your situation, however, I hope you realize that You can't worship Trump, Obama, or any other such political figure and truthfully think yourself wise.
"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." In a system where you're only as free as your purchasing power; diversity, human rights, freedom of speech, etc, only matter in as far as they serve to perpetuate and strengthen the system and its control over you.
The tentacles of the system, be it Google, Twitter, the ClÅ or Military, will only be as pro or anti-human rights, free speech, and what not as long as these things serve its purposes, they don't care either way be it black, women, Igbt, etc. The sooner you realize that the black single mother down the road honestly working 2 jobs and still barely making it, has more in common with you than someone like Trump. The sooner you will be part of the solution. If you remember, Trump once wanted Oprah as his running mate and she was all for it. Oprah has more in common with Trump than you most likely ever will by virtue of her money and power. They belong to two separate branches of the same tree. And will willingly come together to advance the goals of that tree. The imposing oak tree of the American empire.

Ian Drennan 20 hours ago (edited) It’s great to collect and share information with others, but I feel that we sometimes forget that HOW we share it also is important. There are people who are naturally angry, have mental problems, etc, and just feel threatened easily in this fallen world.
They will however listen if the information is brought in more charitably where they don’t feel threatened. Though there will be people who may still seem impossible to get through.
So long as we do our best. “If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”Romans 12:18 CSB Never forget empathy, for we are losing that too it seems.
Hope. Faith. Purpose.

Now the news is covering climate change with urgency and across the board. Finally. And we're already at 415+ ppm CO2 and still, we act with these + celsius targets that aren't even based on the preindustrial level of warming - when we know (or some of us, the scientists know) that it takes a long time for the energy balance of the earth to flatten and level off...due to the increased warming and the natural consequences of that, which releases more greenhouse gases. VERY BASIC climate science one learns in introductory type classes! Maddening.
This is good news: https://apnews.com/article/health-coronavirus-pandemic-9832ab299bd1a5953f305ec1ae2b8ea9?fbclid=IwAR1qg15cu9_oF_wG2bTDllijwOoAjW8C6qqu0aZTFeLvvrAbdQN56PO9ie8 Food stamps increasing in their support level starting in Nov.
This is good - I wish I could talk better, like I do in my own mind. I just can't talk that well or fast enough to keep up with my own mind - that's normal I realize, the brain is a quantum supercomputer.
Everybody mostly thinks they are right and trying to do good, for the most part...but we can disagree with people and their beliefs.
